Feline friends love staying at Animal Resorts. We’ve gone out of way to place your cat in the lap of luxury! They can receive special one on one time with a caretaker like there canine counterparts. A game of chase or fetch if your kitty plays or just a gentle brushing, stroking and cuddling can be arranged. For the more independent feline, they can simply enjoy their turn out time in our cat house, where guests are alternated having free range of the cat house, free of charge. They can enjoy deep window sills overlooking the property, plush bedding, and a large cat tower with secluded cubbies and hiding places during their quiet stay in our cat house.

This area of our resort is secluded and in one of more quiet buildings where no dogs are boarded. It has extra sound proofing and is behind two consecutive entry doors to ensure comfort and security. It is heated with central air conditioning as well and under 24 hour surveillance through our ADT security system just like all other areas of the resort.

Exotic Pets: Exotics receive the same meticulous care given to all our other guests. Playtime for one on one time with our affectionate and attentive staff is always available. And for the more aloof pet consistent care including visual inspections and communication with staffers while cleaning and feeding is the mission.

This area is separate from cats and dogs. Reptiles, birds and rodents have separate rooms as well. We have experience with snakes, iguanas, parrots, rabbits, guinea pigs, and lots of other small pets.

Health and Welfare Boarding your cat is the best alternative for care of your pet in your absence. The selection of this temporary home is an important decision. Animal Resorts strives to provide your companion, at any stage of life, an environment that greatly exceeds basic necessities. You can board your pet for just a weekend or for a month or more. We offer discounts for multiple cats sharing the same accommodations. At Animal Resorts, we are always here when you need us!

Your pet’s well-being is our #1 priority. Our facility provides for a clean, fresh environment, and lots of attention and activity, essential to your pet’s good health. Our staff will be interacting with your pet throughout the day, talking, petting, feeding, cleaning, grooming or playing. Optional play or cuddle sessions provide even more attention.

Accommodations include a completely separate indoor building (no dogs), heated, central air conditioned, and a common sun-lit window room just for individual rest and relaxation. And, to keep things interesting for your cat, we have some fun activities available.

Cat Boarding Once you see, we know you’ll agree, we’ve gone out of our way to place your cat in the lap of luxury! And we can provide personal exercise periods for your cat in our comfortable common area in a spacious, bright, sunlit room. All accommodations feature soft beds.

Feline Vaccinations The following vaccinations are required
FVRCP - Yearly or as Your Vet Rabies - Within 3 years

Required - Please have these vaccinations done two weeks prior to boarding. This is important for your cat's health.

Feline Fun Activities

Feline Playtime - Individual play sessions for cats who like to steal the show! One-on-one sessions, approximately 15 minutes - playing, petting, cuddles, you name it! Our staff will make sure your cat enjoys the session. Cost is $6 per session.

Brush-n-Love - Some extra 'hands on' attention. Usually given while your pet is in his kennel. Petting and light brushing is relaxing and beneficial to skin and coat. Assists with getting your pet used to his/her environment. This is NOT a grooming session but a fun stimulating session for your pet. Cost is $6

Massage - Touching is the first loving, stimulating contact that any animal experiences after birth. Our personal touch with an animal friend is essential for their physical and spiritual well being. With specific technique and intention, a relaxing massage therapy can enhance natural self healing and the wellbeing of your pet Cost $20 per massage

Diets, Medications, Own Food & Special Feedings: Our standard cattery diets are Pedigree feeds and a variety of canned meats. Medications are charged $0.50 per dose. If you wish to bring your pet's food from home, if you place each feeding in a baggie and tag it, you will not be charged a special feeding fee. Other own food feedings are charged at $1 per day. Animal Resorts provides everything your cat will need. We supply the litter, bedding, and the love. We are not responsible for items left behind.

Additional Costs and Charges: For flea control, your cat will be bathed if they have fleas, ticks, or other parasites at your expense. This is not an option. Matted or Excessively dirty cats will be be charged accordingly.

What To Bring Bring your cat's favorite toys (limit to two please) and any treats you might wish your pet to have. Do not bring valuables as we will not be responsible for any lost belongings. What you do bring please label with permanent marker all belongings. Bedding We supply your pet with comfy fresh bedding.

Bring an emergency number (family or friend) for our records.

Cat Grooming Our Animal Resorts bath includes: shampoo, conditioner, and nail trimming. There is an additional charge for long hair, matted coats, or difficult pets.

Activities and Special Care We offer optional activities to entertain and relax your pet; from playtimes, massages, to quiet easy cuddles, for the young and the older pet.

Feline Special Care and Handling - Medical problems which can affect your cat's health or comfort will be referred to a veterinarian. Other problems or conditions we notice during your pet's visit will be explained to you when you pick up your pet.

We know from experience that boarding is a little harder on the seniors of the feline world , convalescing cats and first time boarders of any age. For cats on several medications, or with certain health conditions, or behavior problems this may be mandatory. Therefore we have made special provisions for their needs. Note: Cats that require special care or special handling will be charged an additional fee, commensurate with the type of care required. This care may be considered mandatory for boarding.
